Chemical & Bio Process Engineering for Chemists

       

This programme is designed specifically for Chemists who work in the Process industries, with Production and Engineering Personnel, and have not had formal training on this subject. This programme will give participants an overview of the Materials Processing Industries and in particular an understanding of the basic principles and typical Processes & Equipment used in Chemical/Process Engineering.

Objectives: This programme aims to enable the participants to:

  • Demonstrate a greater understanding of process engineering principles, processes and equipment.
  • Facilitate communication with Production & Engineering personnel on technical and related matters.
  • Participate effectively in Multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Solve production problems, involving others as required.
  • Provide technical support to others and contribute to improving processes.

Accreditation: Certificate in Chemical & Bio Process Engineering for Chemists & Process Support Personnel from PAA (Process Awards Authority) or an FLI Group Certificate of Attendance.

                                 Chemical& Bio Processing    - Chemical Reactors/Synthesis

                                                                          - Powder Technology
                                                                          - Bioprocessing

Delivery: Class Room Based Instruction

Assessment: Modules will be assessed by four Process Awards Authority Multi-choice Exams.
