Certificate in Process Plant Operations, Level 2

   

Advance your professional and job skills. Whether starting a new career as a process operator, or seeking to progress your career as an existing operator, this programme will certify your knowledge to employers.

Objectives: To provide you with the standard technical qualification for Process Operators working in Bulk Processing plants (Pharmaceutical, BioPharmaceutical, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices etc.)

Accreditation: Candidates receive modular certificates from City & Guilds and also an overall Certificate in Process Plant Operations from PAA (Process Awards Authority).

Exemptions are available for Students certified by City & Guilds as having successfully completed modules of the programme.

                                     » Instrumentation, Measurement & Control
                                     » Health & Safety and Environmental Issues
                                     » Special Processes


Prerequisites: There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Delivery: The programme is provided as a one-year distance learning programme using an innovative mix of home study, text books, tutor support and periodic classroom based tutorials. Module assessment will be completed before students go on to the next module.

Assessment: Modules will be assessed by a combination of Open Book Tutor Marked Assignments, C&G One-hour Multi-choice Examinations, Projects as well as an overall Process Awards Authority Exam.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Course Fees:  €2,475  * Reduced to €990 for those eligible for FAS Funding (Funding to be confirmed)
