Objectives: This course is designed to enable your company to have an in-house capability to assess the ongoing competency of your employees to produce quality products.
Accreditation: FLI Group can certify successful Assessor candidates with City & Guilds based on National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) standards for assessors. Alternatively, an FLI Group Certificate of Attendance can be awarded.
Skills covered are:
- Selected employees will be given the opportunity to develop their skills as assessors of competency
- Your in-company Assessors will operate to recognised performance standards, which meet industry best practices for assessing competency
- They will assess their fellow employees fairly and consistently, using agreed performance standards
- Your employees will view the assessment process as non-threatening and as a positive contributor to their ongoing training and development
- Your trained Assessors will be able to work with your in-house Trainers and Instructors to address training gaps that may become apparent during assessments
- Assessment results can form a key element of your in-house Training Needs Analysis process
- This course is Competency-based, meeting requirements that have been defined in National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) performance standards for assessors
- FLI Group can assess the performance of the trained assessor candidates, to ensure that they meet the NVQ standards
- Candidates that satisfy the standards can be certified as Assessors by a recognised accrediting body, through FLI group
- The quality and consistency of your in-house assessment processes and of your Assessors will be clear to regulatory inspectors.
Delivery: Class Room Based Instruction
Assessment: Candidates are assessed through a process of observation, examination of evidence, questioning and professional discussion. They will also compile a Portfolio of Evidence, consisting of the assessment documentation, for verification.
