Advanced Certificate in Process Plant Operations, Level 3

   

Gain an advanced technical qualification in Process Plant Operations to enhance your career in the Pharmaceutical, Bio Pharmaceutical, Chemical and related Industries.

Accreditation: Candidates receive modular certificates from City & Guilds and also an overall Certificate in Process Plant Operations from PAA\VQ-SET.

                                     » Distillation
                                     » Drying
                                     » Mixing & Blending of Solids & Fluids
                                     » Pharmaceutical Practices (cGMP)

Prerequisites: This course is aimed at experienced operators and existing operators with a proven capability on process plant operation.  It is also aimed at Supervisory Personnel, Team Leaders and experienced Maintenance or Utilities Operators. 
Participants who have completed Level 2 are also eligible to apply for Level 3. Exemptions are available for Students certified by City & Guilds as having successfully completed modules of the programme.

Delivery: The programme is provided as a one-year distance learning programme using an innovative mix of home study, text books, tutor support and periodic classroom based tutorials. A Class Room based Tutorial and Examination is carried out in the final week of each module.

Assessment: Modules will be assessed by a combination of Open Book Tutor Marked Assignments and C&G  Short Answer Question Examinations as well as an Overall PAA\VQ-SET Exam.
